11:65 فعقروها فقال تمتعوا في داركم ثلاثة ايام ذلك وعد غير مكذوب | |
Transliteration | FaAAaqarooha faqala tamattaAAoo fee darikum thalathata ayyamin thalika waAAdun ghayru makthoobin |
Literal | So they wounded it/slaughtered it/cut it/made it infertile, so he said: "Enjoy three days in your home/country , that (is) a promise not denied/falsified." |
Yusuf Ali | But they did ham-string her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: (Then will be your ruin): (Behold) there a promise not to be belied!" |
Pickthal | But they hamstrung her, and then he said: Enjoy life in your dwelling-place three days! This is a threat that will not be belied. |
