| 11:66 فلما جاء امرنا نجينا صالحا والذين امنوا معه برحمة منا ومن خزي يومئذ ان ربك هو القوي العزيز | |
| Transliteration | Falamma jaa amruna najjayna salihan waallatheena amanoo maAAahu birahmatin minna wamin khizyi yawmi-ithin inna rabbaka huwa alqawiyyu alAAazeezu |
| Literal | So when Our promise came We saved/rescued Saleh and those who believed with him, with mercy from Us and from that days' shame/scandal/disgrace, that your Lord, He is the powerful/strong, the glorious/mighty . |
| Yusuf Ali | When Our Decree issued, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves - and from the Ignominy of that day. For thy Lord - He is the Strong One, and able to enforce His Will. |
