| 11:78 وجاءه قومه يهرعون اليه ومن قبل كانوا يعملون السيئات قال ياقوم هؤلاء بناتي هن اطهر لكم فاتقوا الله ولاتخزون في ضيفي اليس منكم رجل رشيد | |
| Transliteration | Wajaahu qawmuhu yuhraAAoona ilayhi wamin qablu kanoo yaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati qala ya qawmi haola-i banatee hunna atharu lakum faittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni fee dayfee alaysa minkum rajulun rasheedun |
| Literal | And his nation came to him rushing disturbedly/hysterically/madly to him, and from before they were making/doing the sins/crimes, he said: "You (my) nation those are my daughters, they are (F) purer for you, so fear and obey God and do not shame/scandalize/disgrace me in (front of) my guests, is (there) not from you a correctly/rightly guided man?" |

Here are my daughters: they are purer for you (if ye marry)! Now fear Allah, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?" |
