14:12 ومالنا الا نتوكل على الله وقد هدانا سبلنا ولنصبرن على مااذيتمونا وعلى الله فليتوكل المتوكلون | |
Transliteration | Wama lana alla natawakkala AAala Allahi waqad hadana subulana walanasbiranna AAala ma athaytumoona waAAala Allahi falyatawakkali almutawakkiloona |
Literal | And why not for us that we not, rely/depend on God, and He had guided us (to) our ways/paths , and we will be patient (E) on what you harmed us mildly (with it), and on God so should rely/depend the reliant/dependent . |
Yusuf Ali | "No reason have we why we should not put our trust on Allah. Indeed He Has guided us to the Ways we (follow). We shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us. For those who put their trust should put their trust on Allah." |
Pickthal | How should we not put our trust in Allah when He hath shown us our ways? We surely will endure the hurt ye do us. In Allah let the trusting put their trust. |
