| 14:34 واتاكم من كل ماسالتموه وان تعدوا نعمة الله لاتحصوها ان الانسان لظلوم كفار | |
| Transliteration | Waatakum min kulli ma saaltumoohu wa-in taAAuddoo niAAmata Allahi la tuhsooha inna al-insana lathaloomun kaffarun |
| Literal | And He gave you from every (thing) what you asked/begged Him (for it), and if you count God's blessing/goodness , you do not count/compute it , that the human/mankind (is an) unjust/oppressive (E), (insistent) disbeliever. |
| Yusuf Ali | And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of Allah, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. |
| Pickthal | And He giveth you of all ye ask of Him, and if ye would count the bounty of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! man is verily a wrong-doer, an ingrate. |
| Arberry | and gave you of all you asked Him. If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely man is sinful, unthankful! |

Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allahs Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad SAW). |
| H/K/Saheeh | And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful. |
| QXP | And He gives you all that you would be asking Him for (55:29). If you count the blessings of Allah's provision (they are so diverse that) never will you be able to number them. But verily, man when practically ingrate, is a wrongdoer to himself. (He is given to greed and hoarding). |
