14:42 ولاتحسبن الله غافلا عما يعمل الظالمون انما يؤخرهم ليوم تشخص فيه الابصار | |
Transliteration | Wala tahsabanna Allaha ghafilan AAamma yaAAmalu alththalimoona innama yu-akhkhiruhum liyawmin tashkhasu feehi al-absaru |
Literal | And do not think/suppose that God (is) ignoring/neglecting from what the unjust/oppressive make/do , but God delays them to a day the eye sights/knowledge stare/gaze in it. |
Yusuf Ali | Think not that Allah doth not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but giveth them respite against a Day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror,- |
Pickthal | Deem not that Allah is unaware of what the wicked do. He but giveth them a respite till a day when eyes will stare (in terror), |
