Transliteration | Qaloo bal ji/naka bima kanoo feehi yamtaroona |
Literal | They said: "But we came to you, with what they were in it doubting/arguing." |
Yusuf Ali | They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt. |
Pickthal | They said: Nay, but we bring thee that concerning which they keep disputing, |
Arberry | They said, 'Nay, but we have brought thee that concerning which they were doubting. |
