Transliteration | Ma nunazzilu almala-ikata illa bialhaqqi wama kanoo ithan munthareena |
Literal | We do not descend the angels except with the truth , and they (the disbelievers) were not then delayed/waited . |
Yusuf Ali | We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have! |
