19:17 فاتخذت من دونهم حجابا فارسلنا اليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا | |
Transliteration | Faittakhathat min doonihim hijaban faarsalna ilayha roohana fatamaththala laha basharan sawiyyan |
Literal | So she took from other than them a divider/protection , so We sent to her Our Soul/Spirit , so he simulated/represented to her (as an) upright/average human. |
Yusuf Ali | She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. |
Pickthal | And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our Spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. |
