19:48 واعتزلكم وماتدعون من دون الله وادعوا ربي عسى الا اكون بدعاء ربي شقيا | |
Transliteration | WaaAAtazilukum wama tadAAoona min dooni Allahi waadAAoo rabbee AAasa alla akoona biduAAa-i rabbee shaqiyyan |
Literal | And I separate/isolate myself from you and what you call from other than God, and I call my Lord, maybe/perhaps that I not be with my Lord's call/prayer miserable/unhappy. |
Yusuf Ali | "And I will turn away from you (all) and from those whom ye invoke besides Allah: I will call on my Lord: perhaps, by my prayer to my Lord, I shall be not unblest." |
