| Transliteration | Laqad ahsahum waAAaddahum AAaddan |
| Literal | He had counted/completed them and He counted them counting. |
| Yusuf Ali | He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. |
| Pickthal | Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. |
| Arberry | He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. |
