| Transliteration | Qala AAamma qaleelin layusbihunna nadimeena |
| Literal | He said: "On what little (shortly) they (will) become/become in the morning regretful/remorseful ." |
| Yusuf Ali | (Allah) said: "In but a little while, they are sure to be sorry!" |
