23:41 فاخذتهم الصيحة بالحق فجعلناهم غثاء فبعدا للقوم الظالمين | |
Transliteration | Faakhathat-humu alssayhatu bialhaqqi fajaAAalnahum ghuthaan fabuAAdan lilqawmi alththalimeena |
Literal | So the loud strong cry/torture raid punished/took them with the truth , so We made them rotten/useless , so a destruction/curse to the nation the unjust/oppressive. |
Yusuf Ali | Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! |
Pickthal | So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! |
