ash-Shu`ara' (The Poets) 26:224

26:224 والشعراء يتبعهم الغاوون


TransliterationWaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona
LiteralAnd the poets, (only) the misguiding/failing follow them.

Yusuf AliAnd the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them:
PickthalAs for poets, the erring follow them.
Arberry And the poets -- the perverse follow them;
ShakirAnd as to the poets, those who go astray follow them.
SarwarOnly the erring people follow the poets.
KhalifaAs for the poets, they are followed only by the strayers.
Hilali/KhanAs for the poets, the erring follow them,
H/K/SaheehAnd the poets [only] the deviators follow them;
Malik- and those poets who are followed by those who go astray.[224]
