26:63 فاوحينا الى موسى ان اضرب بعصاك البحر فانفلق فكان كل فرق كالطود العظيم | |
Transliteration | Faawhayna ila moosa ani idrib biAAasaka albahra fainfalaqa fakana kullu firqin kaalttawdi alAAatheemi |
Literal | So We inspired/transmitted to Moses that: "Beat/strike/move with your stick/cane the sea/large body of water ." So it broke in half/split open/cracked, so every/each part/piece was as the huge mountain, the great. |
Yusuf Ali | Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. |
