| Transliteration | Faanjaynahu waas-haba alssafeenati wajaAAalnaha ayatan lilAAalameena |
| Literal | So We saved/rescued him and the ship's/boat's owners/company/friends, and We made it a sign/evidence to the creations all together/(universes). |
| Yusuf Ali | But We saved him and the companions of the Ark, and We made the (Ark) a Sign for all peoples! |
| Pickthal | And We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and made of it a portent for the peoples. |
