| 29:31 ولما جاءت رسلنا ابراهيم بالبشرى قالوا انا مهلكوا اهل هذه القرية ان اهلها كانوا ظالمين | |
| Transliteration | Walamma jaat rusuluna ibraheema bialbushra qaloo inna muhlikoo ahli hathihi alqaryati inna ahlaha kanoo thalimeena |
| Literal | And when Our messengers, came (to) Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are (E), we are perishing/destroying , this the village's/urban cities' people , that (E) its people were unjust/oppressive." |
| Yusuf Ali | When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime." |
