| Transliteration | Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena |
| Literal | So We did not find in it other than (a) house/home from the submitters/Moslems . |
| Yusuf Ali | But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house: |
| Pickthal | But We found there but one house of those surrendered (to Allah). |
| Arberry | but We found not therein except one house of those that have surrendered themselves. |
| Shakir | But We did not find therein save a (single) house of those who submitted (the Muslims). |
