Transliteration | Fama minkum min ahadin AAanhu hajizeena |
Literal | So (there) is not from anyone from you preventing/hindering from (for) him. |
Yusuf Ali | Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). |
Pickthal | And not one of you could have held Us off from him. |
Arberry | and not one of you could have defended him. |
Shakir | And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. |
