| Transliteration | Famali allatheena kafaroo qibalaka muhtiAAeena |
| Literal | So why (is it) those who disbelieved (are) coming, rushing in fear towards/in front of you ? |
| Yusuf Ali | Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee- |
| Pickthal | What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, |

| Shakir | But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you, |
