| Transliteration | Kalla inna khalaqnahum mimma yaAAlamoona |
| Literal | No but that We created them from what they know . |
| Yusuf Ali | By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! |
| Pickthal | Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. |
