| Transliteration | Inna laka fee alnnahari sabhan taweelan |
| Literal | That truly for you in the daytime (is) long tending to the livelihood/sleeping and resting . |
| Yusuf Ali | True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with ordinary duties: |
