| Transliteration | Ila rabbika yawma-ithin almustaqarru |
| Literal | To your Lord that day (is) the settlement . |
| Yusuf Ali | Before thy Lord (alone), that Day will be the place of rest. |
| Pickthal | Unto thy Lord is the recourse that day. |
| Arberry | Upon that day the recourse shall be to thy Lord. |
| Shakir | With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. |
| Sarwar | The only place of refuge will be with God. |
| Khalifa | To your Lord, on that day, is the final destiny. |
| Hilali/Khan | Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. |
| H/K/Saheeh | To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. |
| Malik | On that Day, the refuge will only be towards your Lord.[12] |
