| Transliteration | Wala oqsimu bialnnafsi allawwamati |
| Literal | And nor I swear/make oath with the self , the often blaming/reprimanding. |
| Yusuf Ali | And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). |
