| Literal | No but, that truly the righteous'/charitable' Book/judgment (is) in (E) Eley'yeen/height/elevation. |
| Yusuf Ali | Day, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin. |
| Pickthal | Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin - |
| Arberry | No indeed; the book of the pious is in Illiyun; |
| Shakir | Nay! Most surely the record of the righteous shall be in the Iliyin. |
