| Transliteration | Wujoohun yawma-ithin naAAimatun |
| Literal | Faces/fronts (on) that day (are) comfortable and eased/happy/smooth . |
| Yusuf Ali | (Other) faces that Day will be joyful, |
| Pickthal | In that day other faces will be calm, |
| Arberry | Faces on that day jocund, |
| Shakir | (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, |
| Sarwar | However, on that day the faces of other people will be happy. |
| Khalifa | Other faces on that day will be full of joy. |
