| Transliteration | Faamma man aAAta waittaqa |
| Literal | So but who gave/granted and feared and obeyed. |
| Yusuf Ali | So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah), |
| Pickthal | As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) |
| Arberry | As for him who gives and is godfearing |
| Shakir | Then as for him who gives away and guards (against evil), |
