| Transliteration | Wakaththaba bialhusna |
| Literal | And lied/denied/falsified with the best/most beautiful . |
| Yusuf Ali | And gives the lie to the best,- |
| Pickthal | And disbelieveth in goodness; |
| Arberry | and cries lies to the reward most fair, |
| Shakir | And rejects the best, |
| Sarwar | and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). |
